Pocketfold Invitations are the hottest thing right now. I am a big fan myself! I have been in the business almost 11 years right now, and this is the first real big trend in years that keeps improving and expanding, offering different types of papers for layering, and pockets and envelofolds for keeping it all organized! We have lots of options for embellishing with rhinestones, buckles and ribbons. Creating your custom invitation can often be expensive, so I have been offering several different pricing options for my custom line that are both cost and time effective. For the bride on a budget, I offer to have papers cut to specifications and hand them over for them to completely design/print and customize themselves (this is for computer savvy customers who owns a good quality laserjet printer). For those less crafty, yet still budget conscious, I provide design and printing services, allowing customer to have a beautifully designed invitation and saving their money by assembling all themselves (it is easy, but very time consuming!) - this can save as much as $300!!!. I have spoken with several brides who have opted to assemble their invitations themselves, and they have all told me they recruited moms, in-laws, and bridal party and have had somewhat of a "assembly" nite offering dinner or (before assembling of course!) and witty conversation in exchange for their services. Most will agree to only recruit people you trust to help create your vision!
Lastly, for those who do not have time to design/print and/or assemble their own invitations, we of course offer our services, and would love to help you create your perfect invitation!
If you have used a pocketfold invitation for your wedding or party, or have assembled a DIY pocketfold project, please post your photo's here, and share! It is always good to get ideas for your invitations either on line or thru magazines - keeping photos of the ones you like the most and perhaps taking your favorite elements from a each to create something uniquely your own.
below is a beautiful ensemble, created using the envelopements line of pockets and papers.

I will continue to post some of our designs on this blog, and would love any comments you may have on this great new trend!
